Making a Purchase
Making a
purchase could not be easier. Just browse our Catalogue,
and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them in
your shopping cart. After you have finished your selection,
click on “Check out” and you will be asked for a few details
that we need to be able to satisfy your order. The prices
are all exclusive of VAT.
Should you
have any difficulties in using the shopping cart, please do

By
submitting an order, you are accepting the Terms and
Conditions of the Floor-in-Glory.co.uk website and are
entering into a legally binding contract.
The
easiest way to pay is by using a credit or debit card, this
can be debited immediately as long as we have the items in
stock. We do not take payments unless we have them in stock
at the time of ordering.
You can
also pay by cheque; this can take 7 working days to clear,
so stock would not be dispatched until payment has been
cleared.
You may if
you wish put a 30% deposit down on your order. We will then
hold any product and price given at the time, for a period
of up to one month. The remainder of the monies being due
when a delivery date is arranged. Please note a deposit in
law is deemed to be a binding contract and non refundable
whether a stocked item or a special order.
Orders
Once your
order has been submitted and received we will send
confirmation of the details via E mail. Please check the
details of your order and raise any queries immediately.
Your order is a legally binding contract and we shall supply
in accordance with such. Alterations and cancellations of
an order may result in additional costs.
Customer
satisfaction is paramount, so the company will be as fair as
possible.
There is
no minimum order value.
Cancellations
If you
need to cancel your order before dispatch please advise so
we can offer a full refund to your credit/debit card. If
your goods have already been dispatched you will be liable
for the delivery charge. A refund would be made taking this
into account. If you have received the goods and wish to
return them, this can be arranged. We expect orders being
returned to be unopened with the original packaging. You
should expect that this will incur charges for picking up
and returning them.
In case of
a verbal order (by telephone) we will still send a
confirmation E mail to ensure the order is correct.
We can
only refund delivery costs if the return is a result of our
error.
Delivery
Information
We
anticipate that most deliveries will be made within 3-5
working days. You will be advised within 2 working days of
placing your order. You can make a request for a specific
date which we will endeavour to meet. There is a delivery
charge of £25.50+vat per order. Free delivery is offered on
all orders over £350+vat.
SCOTLAND, IRELAND &
OVERSEAS deliveries MAY incur additional costs, depending on
area size weight etc.
All
deliveries are made to “kerbside” at the nearest access
point to the delivery address for the delivery vehicle. The
driver may need help unloading the products. It is assumed
that the delivery address will be accessible by lorry. If
there is likely to be a problem, i.e. road is subject to
weight or width limit please inform us at the time of
order. We are unable to give an estimate of delivery time
as this is at the courier’s discretion but the delivery will
be made between 8.00am and 6.00pm.
If the
delivery driver is unable to deliver at your address on the
arranged delivery date because you are not there you will be
liable for the re delivery charge.
Please
inspect all your goods on delivery as no claims with regard
to damaged items can be made after delivery unless signed
for as damaged with the driver. Although every effort is
made to ensure that your goods are delivered in perfect
condition, in the event some of your goods are damaged we
will collect and replace the products if required.
Shading
Samples
Colours/shading sometimes varies between batches.
Therefore, an installation which requires the use of more
than one roll the products could differ. Shading and
pressure bands, a tendency inherent in all pile fabrics, are
due to unequal pressure on the pile surface.
There is a
cutting allowance of 1.25% in accordance with British
Standards, (BS3655).
We
recommend the use of new underlay when installing a carpet.
Old underlay can cause premature wearing.
Any floor
covering supplied by Floor-in-Glory should be carried out by
a qualified carpet fitter in accordance with BS5325 2001.
Guarantees
Floor-in-Glory wants you to be totally satisfied with your
carpets/floorings. We offer a manufacturers guarantee on
all our products. Please contact us immediately if you have
any concerns. Fitting costs and consequential costs are not
normally accepted. If you feel a product is faulty please
be advised this may incur a cost for an independent
inspection which will be refunded on confirmation of the
fault.
Floor-in-Glory values and will support its customers at all
times, resolving any problems as promptly as possible.
Terms and
Conditions of sales and purchases in our online shop are
regulated by the relevant laws laid down by the United
Kingdom only.
Complaints
We
endeavour to maintain a high level of customer service and
we will do our utmost to ensure our customers are completely
satisfied. However, in the unfortunate event you feel a
need to complain please contact the office in the first
instance expressing your concerns and the nature of your
complaint. Confirmation of which will be required in
writing to protect both parties and to resolve the issues as
quickly and efficiently as possible.
